Hey there,

I’m Jonathan or Jon.C in short and thanks for taking some time to know about me. I was originally from Borneo, Sabah, but had spent half my life here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I’m a self taught photographer, started photography as a hobby as most people did. I remembered having an eye for composition when I worked as part-time crew with an event company. Given a point and shoot camera to photograph an event of B-Boys dance competition. Despite being the first time to be given the task to capture an important event, I was able to produce some nice shots. This sparked my photography interest and since then, had been the start of my photographic journey.

Photography was not my planned career, in fact it never crossed my mind. I was a Sales and Operation Manager at an international freight and logistics Company. My initial plan was to climb up the corporate ladder with my MBA qualification. It's not an easy decision for me however, as my passion in photography grew stronger, I started to pursue full time Photography in 2011.

After four years, Wedding photography still hold a special place in my heart. The affections, moments and raw emotions shown during the wedding day are what inspire me. I love to capture the natural way of a wedding as it unfold itself and the timeless moment that they will see in their photograph captured. That're always my goals and type of styles that I wanted in my works.

I always try to make ways to meet up with my clients before any shooting to know more about them and their life experiences so that I could incorporate their stories into my style of photography that are unique to them.

When I’m not shooting, I would spend my time editing, traveling, and spending precious time with my wife and lovely baby girl.
