10 Secrets to Eliminate Dry Skin

Instead of showering in “hot” water, adjust the water temperature to lukewarm to protect your skin layer and retain its natural moisture.
Work a moisturizing body wash into a lather and gently apply it to wet skin. Products like Nivea and Dove are well-known for cleaning and hydrating your skin at the same time.

This tip is a no-brainer. The skin on our elbows and knees tend to be the driest, so make sure to use an intensive moisturizing lotion on these areas. We love using Argan oil for an extra kick of moisture for our face.
Cloth Hand Towels
Use cloth hand towels instead of paper as the former are less harsh on your hands. Pat your hands dry and apply hand cream afterwards. Keep hand cream products handy. You may use Crabtree & Evelyn’s 60-Second Fix for Hands in Lavender about three to four times a week. If you work in an air-conditioned environment, apply the product whenever your hands feel dry.

Drink Plenty of Water
Dry skin needs moisture any and every way it can get, so drink up! This practise also helps to drain toxins from your body, making you feel and look amazing in due time.
As we live in tropical countries, our lips and skin are constantly exposed to harsh weather conditions. Before going out, apply sunscreen and a medicated lip balm with SPF.

For a quick relief, gently spray on a face mist whenever your skin feels tight or dry. Stick to unscented or organic versions, especially if you have sensitive skin.
If you have dry skin, do not further irritate it by using harsh body or facial scrubs. How to identify harsh body or facial scrubs? Always check the label of the product. Next, you would feel a tight or light painful sensation after use. Those products are meant for those with oily and blemished skin.

Shave & Moisturise
After shaving your legs, follow up with a deep moisturising lotion. Skipping this step may cause our skin to flake even more and may lead to ingrown hair. Ouch!)
Carry Lip Balms
Keep your lips soft and moisturized with a handy chap-stick, petroleum jelly such as Vaseline, or lip balm. With regular use, your lipstick will go on much smoother on your wedding day.
